Modelworxx Announces Signing of Distribution Agreement With Chess Valley
MWW Automotive Group, a global automotive firm providing design services and designing and manufacturing accessories for many of the world's leading automotive manufacturers, with facilities in the US and Germany, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Modelworxx in Germany has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Chess Valley Ltd (www.chessvalley.com) for the United Kingdom.
Chess Valley is a large premium car distributor with locations in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The company has been operating for 17 years and has built an excellent reputation as a supplier for high-end vehicles such as Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche, VW, BMW, Land Rover and Bentley and is also a premium tuning parts supplier. Chess Valley sources its products from a variety of global suppliers and has selected the products from Modelworxx (under the brand name
Conner) for its leading-edge design, style and superior quality.
In August 2009 Mr. Hamish Morjaria (director of Chess Valley) formed the new company "Style for Cars Ltd" exclusively to market Modelworxx
(Conner) products in the UK. "Style for Cars" addresses the growing UK market for premium tuning and styling products for premium vehicles. Modelworxx is one of the few suppliers in Europe which can fulfill the high requirements for design and product quality of this highly demanding clientele, as the current market offerings typically consist of lower quality and cheaper imported products.
Commenting on the new partnership, Hamish Morjaria, Managing Director of "Style For Cars Ltd," said, "We have already seen a big demand for the Conner products from our customers, and accordingly we are excited to be able to secure the exclusive rights to sell these Modelworxx's products in the UK. The Conner products provide our customers with premium styling products from Germany with the high level of quality that Modelworxx delivers at a fraction of the normal cost." For further details about Style For Cars Ltd see www.styleforcars.com.
In addition to establishing Chess Valley Ltd., Mr. Hamish Morjaria has a long track record of developing and running successful businesses. He previously held the position of sales director at 2020 Logistics, the largest mobile phone distributor in the world and part of the Caudwell Group of companies prior to its sale for GBP 1.46 billion in September 2006. His previous roles include Vice President EMEA for Metamatrix, a privately held US software vendor and Sales Director UK (professional services) for Compuware, one of the largest software companies in the world.
Mr. Gerold Haas, CEO of Modelworxx in Munich Germany commented, "We are delighted with our new distribution partnership in England. We believe that Chess Valley, with its high end customers for premium cars, is a perfect fit for our leading edge design and high quality product. We are happy that we can launch our products with such an established and successful partner as Mr. Morjaria and Chess Valley throughout the UK. We are looking forward to a productive relationship and are ready to conquer a significant market share for our premium products in the UK."
