MOST Cooperation Opens Call for Speakers for ICA 2011
The MOST Cooperation (MOSTCO) - the standardization organization for the leading automotive multimedia network Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) - will host the 12th MOST Interconnectivity Conference Asia (ICA) on November 17, 2011 in Tokyo (Japan). "This year's MOST Conference in Asia will focus on the third generation of MOST Technology - MOST150 - already heading towards rollout," stated Dr. Christian Thiel, MOST Cooperation Administrator. "We very much acknowledge this major effort and invite speakers from the automotive electronics industry to contribute to the conference program. Anyone involved with MOST Technology is welcome to present the latest MOST designs, solutions, experiences, research results, and future outlooks."
Suggested topics for presentation include, but are not limited to: MOST physical layer, MOST networking and system architecture, MOST software and protocols, MOST compliance and quality, and MOST applications and series projects experience. Abstracts for submission are due by September 2, 2011 and should be mailed to MOSTCO_PR@mostcooperation.com. The MOSTCO Steering Committee will review all entries and create a high quality program to be presented to Asian carmakers and their suppliers.
MOST150 - Next Step: Rollout
At present, MOST150 is heading towards implementation. The newest MOST generation is about to hit the road and the MOST Cooperation is proud that core partner members Audi and Daimler will be the first carmakers to integrate MOST150 into series production vehicles. This reflects MOSTCO's path of success, with fast-growing acceptance of this de-facto automotive network standard by key carmakers worldwide. The number of vehicle models relying on the MOST infotainment backbone already totals over 100 vehicle models on the road today. At ICA 2011, the MOST Cooperation will demonstrate various aspects and application features based on MOST150.
