Latest Automotive Power Management Solutions at SAE Convergence

International Rectifier, IR (NYSE: IRF), a world leader in power management technology, today announced it will showcase the company’s latest automotive solutions at SAE Convergence 2012 which is being held at the Cobo Center, Detroit, Michigan, from October 16 – 17, 2012.

The IR booth #309 will feature demonstrations including IR’s COOLiRT silicon and advanced COOLiR 2T packaging technology that provides an innovative power management platform approach for H(EV) vehicles. A 7-channel, 130 W per channel Class D Audio system, highvoltage DC-DC converter and IR’s advanced energy management system that extends battery life in electric vehicles will also be on display.

IR’s team of automotive applications engineers, sales representatives and marketing experts will be available to discuss IR’s extensive portfolio of automotive-qualified high-voltage ICs, Intelligent Protected Switches (IPS), power MOSFETS including DirectFET 2 devices, and IGBTs for a broad range of automotive systems.
