PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA 2012, the paired annual fairs for fluid power transmission and intralogistics have met the satisfaction of every participant throughout the four-day event, with a strong presence of 1,830 exhibitors, showcasing their cutting-edge products and technology over a display area of 110,000 square meters. A pleasant increase in the number of visitors by 21 %, reaching 68,510 from 80 countries and regions, is also worth to be mentioned. The growing competence and influence of the two major shows became even more evident this year.

“Despite economic downturn has led to declining profits for many companies, there are still opportunities in the market to secure their business for the years to come,” commented Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG, “Our annual event is such a platform for the attending companies to demonstrate new applications and solutions for so many industry branches and target groups, and to offer new products and technologies but also alternative ideas to improve their business.” Daifuku, a top-three Japanese enterprise specializing in storage solutions made its debut at CeMAT ASIA this year. “We are very delighted to welcome this key player after so many years.” added. Pech, “Same conditions also happen in PTC ASIA.”

After two decades of development, PTC ASIA is now Asia’s top one and the world’s second largest exhibition in the industry. This year’s PTC ASIA covered an area of 80,500 square meters with 1,350 worldwide exhibitors, including pavilions from Germany, Italy, Turkey, NFPA, AGMA and BHRA to annotate its active international participation. Leading domestic and overseas manufacturers like ABB, SKF, Schaeffler, EMERSON, DMG, KAESER, Tokyo Keiki, NOK&Simrit, Siemens, Nord all appeared at the show. FESTO made a powerful return since its last showcase in PTC ASIA five years ago by not only organizing a press conference to enhance its presence in China, but bringing its independently developed bionic product “Smart Bird” – an example for application in automation - to fly over Hall E7 once an hour. All visitors were amazed by the extremely high-end technology behind it.

More and more global companies like FESTO were emphasizing the importance of attending PTC ASIA, concerning China as an indispensable market. Siemens was another one. According to their marketing people, the main reason to attend PTC ASIA was the fact that it was the biggest transmission trade fair in China. As known to all, China is a considerably big market with high and still rising purchasing power. “We are very satisfied with the show effect and will definitely be back next year,” echoed by Siemens representative.

CeMAT ASIA – the leading trade show for intralogistics in Asia - this year accommodated some 480 exhibitors to present modern logistics products and services. The exhibition serves as a platform of showcasing and new product launches as well as appreciated by the exhibitors and target groups from logistics, industrial manufacturing, tobacco, supermarkets, commercial distribution centre, military logistic institution and so forth. Forklift enterprises highlighted the show through its large-scale showcase in Hall W1, as well as an outdoor dynamic “Forklift Show” to help them demonstrate brands, products technology and skills in all dimensions. Big names like Heli, KION Baoli, Dalian Forklift and Eoslift were the active participants and all achieved visitors’ attraction and appreciation on the site.

“I’m a loyal visitor to CeMAT ASIA. Each year I find its improving in many ways. This year, the ‘Forklift Show’ totally impressed me. And I’m also fascinated by some newly launched products at the show,” said an professional buyer.
