Glass’s focus on partnerships with the appointment of Lee Coomber

Glass’s commitment to its customers has received another boost with the appointment of Lee Coomber to the new role of Head of Partnerships. The creation of the post reflects Glass’s determination to strengthen and grow its business through successful partnership channels, providing innovative products and solutions to trade and consumers.

It follows hard on the heels of a series of recent influential appointments for Glass’s – including the arrival of new Managing Director, Ian Tilbrook. The news heralds a further step-change in Glass’s approach to the market place, as Lee explains: “This is an investment in to getting the very best out of our strategic partnerships, as well as developing relationships with new customers. It is my responsibility to ensure Glass’s continues to provide the best products and service to market, and I will be working to develop our relationships with the industry and reach out to customers through new channels.”

He continues: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Glass’s and through a network of strategic partners, I believe we can arm customers with the knowledge and understanding of the data and insight we offer, which will ultimately help them to make better business decisions.”

Lee will be working with strategic partners, such as Experian, HPi and CarweB, as well as developing relationships with Manheim, BCA and eBay. Having spent the last five years managing key accounts at CAP, he brings invaluable experience in partnership development in the sector, plus extensive knowledge of consumer valuation and key media.

Ed Hummel, Head of Sales at Glass’s, confirms: “Business growth through strong partnership is at the core of our strategy so I am thrilled Lee has decided to join our UK team. His background and passion mean Lee is well-placed to help us drive forward the development of next generation products giving even more customers access to the wealth of Glass’s automotive data.”
