NORGREN ENGINEERING DIRECTOR TO PRESENT AT PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE CONFERENCE

Norgren, a market leader in pneumatic motion and fluid control technology, will showcase key innovations for the global commercial vehicle sector at this year’s Automotive World Megatrends Europe conference in Brussels, Belgium on 12th and 13th November.

At the event, Norgren’s Engineering Director for the Commercial Vehicle Sector, Mark Sealy, will deliver a presentation on current and future technology breakthroughs in vehicle fluid control, in all areas from fuel and coolant management to exhaust and emissions, with a focus on innovative valve technology for natural gas and waste heat recovery systems.

Having worked for Norgren’s parent company IMI group in several technical leadership roles, Mark was appointed Engineering Director for Norgren’s Commercial Vehicle sector in 2011. In his IMI career, he has contributed to nine patents and several strategic new product introductions – most recently, electric inlet throttles to meet the Euro VI standard for trucks. He currently heads up a dedicated team focusing on Rankine cycle waste heat recovery valves for truck applications.

Mark said: “We continue to invest in research and development to keep us at the forefront of innovation in technologies for the CV sector, making us a key partner to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide. We have a track record in the Commercial Vehicle sector going back over 35 years, with proven reliability for hundreds of millions of product miles in service. We work closely with the vehicle and engine companies to gain a deep understanding of fluid control applications.”

Co-sponsored by Norgren, Megatrends Europe is an annual event which will this year be held at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. The conference is split over two days, with day one focusing on Commercial Vehicles and day two on passenger cars.
