Hybrid Technologies, Inc. – emerging leaders in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, is pleased to announce that a high level research and development project has commenced between Volkswagen and Hybrid Technologies.
Following negotiations between executives at Hybrid Technologies and Volkswagen, an agreement was made whereby Hybrid technologies would jointly produce a lithium powered concept vehicle to be utilized by Volkswagen. The vehicle will highlight demonstrable lithium technology placed into a concept vehicle. Volkswagen with over 5 million vehicles sold is rapidly growing with its innovative product line.
The project will remain highly confidential for several months while development work is conducted at the new Hybrid Technologies facility in Mooresville, NC and additional research and development will take place in California.
Although Hybrid Technologies has initiated work with Volkswagen development executives of Hybrid Technologies lithium vehicle division have been negotiating with Daimler Chrysler to produce concept vehicles for the world fourth largest automobile manufacturer.
Hybrid Technologies has been working on a series of lithium systems that will far surpass the previous models produced in 2005. The addition of several new research engineers and design specialists such as Martin Koebler and Ron Cerven this quarter have enabled Hybrid Technologies to take on projects with major automobile manufacturers.
