Stant´s new InStant Fill fuel cap won the new product award in the category of "Cool Cars" at the 2005 AAPEX Show´s New Product Showcase. Entries were judged on size of package, merchandising value, graphic design, originality and shelf life. New Product and New Packaging Awards were presented by AAPEX Show organizers WT Glasgow, MEMA President, Bob McKenna and AAIA President and CEO, Kathleen Schmatz.

The Showcase highlighted products related to vehicle safety, security, fuel efficiency and performance, as well as those that are environmentally friendly, and that create individuality, comfort and convenience for today´s drivers. The Cool Cars category featured products that are fun to use, enhance the driving experience or are unique in their own way. All submissions were on display at the show and can be viewed on the show´s website (aapexshow.com)

Quick, easy refueling with the InStant Fill Fuel Cap is as simple as inserting the nozzle and squeezing the trigger. The new InStant Fill fuel cap makes refueling easier. It´s easy to install and features a convenient trap door mechanism that accommodates the gas nozzle, eliminating the hassle of removing and replacing the cap when refueling. It also meets onboard diagnostic (OBD) emission specifications.

Three part numbers provide coverage for a wide range of popular applications.

InStant Fill caps are designed to appeal to the following:

- Elderly or arthritic customers: With no cap to twist, a source of discomfort is eliminated for those with arthritis in fingers, hands or wrists.

- Clean-hands customers: There is no dirty, smelly gas cap to touch, so hands will not smell of gasoline after refueling.

- Timesavers: Pushing the gas nozzle through the trap door is quicker than removing and replacing a standard cap.

With InStant Fill caps, Stant now takes a little bit of the pain at the pump away.
