NovaCast subsidiary SwePart Verktyg receives order for production and adaptation of stamping dies from FerruForm.


NovaCast Technologies AB :
SwePart Verktyg has received an order for the construction and production of trimming dies. The order also includes adjusting and adaptation of a number of existing stamping dies to Scania’s wholly-owned subsidiary FerruForm in Luleå, Sweden.

The assignment also includes casting die shoes from the special foundry at Camito Technology Center and final delivery will be made from SwePart Verktyg during the summer.
“This order acknowledges SwePart Verktyg and is important in consolidating a long-term cooperation with FerruForm as well as Scania and it is with great satisfaction that we look forward to a more in-going business relationship”, says Janni Dimovski, CEO at SwePart Verktyg.

Ferruform AB is an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of Scania and a high tech company that has been producing quality products to the automotive industry since 1968. Their customers are Scania, Volvo, MAN and VBG. Ferruform is the center for Scania’s production of frame members in high strength material, with daily just in time deliveries of rear axles, side members, cross members, bumpers and other frame members to Scania’s chassi assembly in Södertälje, Zwolle and Angers.
The company has approximately 630 employees.
Established in 1967, the unit opened in 1968 and is the largest manufacturing industry in Luleå, Sweden.

NovaCast Technologies, listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange (NCAS B), develops and markets enhanced castings for the production of car body parts, as well as software for methoding, simulating and process control for more efficient production processes to the global automotive industry and its subcontractors. With the Camito technology enhanced castings are manufactured in one solid piece for the production of dies for forming stamping automotive body components in a considerably shorter time than traditional dies. Through die manufacturer SwePart the group has expertise within the whole value chain for the production and sales of stamping dies.
