In France’s Rhone-Alps region, the Loire Economic Development Agency, ADEL 42, offers a number of services to help area businesses in the automotive sector. It can provide reliable information, prepare and promote a site proposal, present concrete propositions for companies, and help them set up under the very best conditions. The agency will be exhibiting at the SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition in Rosemont, Ill., on Oct. 6 and 7, 2009, as part of the Truck Tech France Pavilion, booth 607.
ADEL 42, formerly known as Expansion 42, provides tailored support services that include examining all possibilities for aid packages and subsidies, carrying out assessments and monitoring applications from end to end, supporting the company manager with his projects, and helping the company manager to join the various networks of partners including local and regional business clubs.
The agency hosts an automotive manufacturers association, CAR Loire, that brings these companies together to foster technological exchanges and provide collective responses to their customers. This association brings together 85 companies working in five areas of activity: chassis and suspension; bodywork and interiors; engine, transmission, and steering; engineering and production facilities; and vehicle and rolling stock manufacturing. These companies include AxleTech, Borg Warner, International Wire, Manitowoc Grove, and more.
