Purchasing Involvement

All respondents are involved in one or more ways in the purchasing of specific components and/or systems.  The following chart shows the percentage of respondents who evaluate, recommend, specify, or are otherwise involved in the purchasing of each listed component or system.

Job Tenure and Responsibility

Respondents have been employed in the automotive industry for an average of approximately 24 years.  More than one-third of respondents (36%) describe their job responsibility as engineering and design.
