In February 2007 DELPHI AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS ESPAÑA in Puerto Real
(Cádiz-Spain) has announced the closure of their plant (70.000 sqm
production area, over 2000 production / assembly machines ) and in April
2007 applied to go into administration.
In the modern plant in Spain DELPHI, one of the world’s largest automotive
parts manufacturers, has produced i.e. shock absorbers, rack & pinion
steering gear, drive axles, and wheel bearings for all major car
TROOSTWIJK Auctions, the European industrial auctioneer and valuer and
Branford Auctions, the American industrial auctioneer, are selected to
organize the disposal of all industrial equipment present in the huge plant
in Puerto Real.
The sale of the assets will take 10 months through private treaty sales and
The live auction sale is scheduled for April 21 and 22 with the support of online webcast bidding and two online sales are planned for May 6th and 7th.
Viewing and inspection for the live auction will take place on April 16th and 17th as well as April 20th; for the online sales there is a viewing day on April 28th.
