Quickparts (http://www.quickparts.com), one of North America’s largest providers of custom designed parts, providing everything from rapid prototyping to injection molded parts, announced the official launch of the new instantquotes@quickparts.com email address.
Quickparts is the pioneer for instant quoting and has been providing instant online quoting for custom rapid prototypes since 1999. This new innovation grants users the option to skip the process of logging on to the website altogether, and helps to simplify and shorten the quoting and ordering process.
Customers no longer have to go to the Quickparts website to login and upload files. After emailing .STL files to the instantquotes@quickparts.com email address, the files are automatically uploaded to the customer’s account and prepared for quoting. A response email is then sent back to the customer containing a link to quickly start the quoting process.
“While many of our customers enjoy the traditional method of logging on to the Quickparts website and uploading CAD files to create instant online quotes, there are also those who prefer to email us their quote requests,” said Patrick Hunter, VP of Sales and Marketing at Quickparts. “For those who prefer this method, we now offer an email address that responds immediately, providing our customers with another option to quickly and easily obtain the quotes they need.”
Anyone registered with an account at www.quickparts.com is eligible for this new service. Emails sent to instantquotes@quickparts.com will need to contain .STL files and have been sent from an email address associated with an online account.
Quickparts provides custom manufacturing services for engineers and designers looking to create plastic and metal parts directly from their 3D CAD data. Using patented QuickQuote technology, Quickparts is able to provide product designers with an ‘instant online quote’ for the prototyping and production of their custom parts.
Quickparts custom manufacturing services include: rapid prototyping (SLA, SLS, FDM, PolyJet), Cast Urethane Parts, Injection Molding (Tooling and Parts), Sheet Metal Parts, CNC Machined Parts, and Plaster and Metal Casting.
