Grede Receives Quality Award from Chrysler

The St. Cloud, Minn., facility of Grede Holdings LLC has been recognized with a certificate of achievement for perfect quality in 2010 and 2011 from Chrysler Group LLC. The award is given in recognition of excellence in product quality performance over the past two years. Grede, a leading supplier of ductile and gray iron castings, provides transmission carriers to Chrysler for the Jeep Liberty and the Dakota 2×4 pickup truck from its St Cloud foundry. The company was recognized at the Chrysler Group’s recent 2011 Annual Supplier Meeting and Awards Ceremony in Detroit.

In accepting the award, John Haas, general manager, Grede – St. Cloud, said: “We are honored to have been recognized by the Chrysler Group. This award validates the commitment our employees have to providing our customers with the highest quality products in the industry.”
