RubinBrown Renames Industry Group

RubinBrown recently renamed its Automotive Services Group to the Transportation and Dealerships Services Group due to the recent growth and expansion of the firm’s work in the transportation industry. John Herber, CPA, managing partner, made the announcement.

RubinBrown’s Transportation and Dealerships Services Group focuses on assisting members of the transportation and dealerships industries to secure a sound financial future through its comprehensive assurance and tax compliance services. Additionally, the firm provides an array of added specialized services including evaluation and development of internal control systems, tax planning, business evaluations, IRS representation, and budgeting and forecasting.

“By renaming our group to Transportation and Dealerships Services Group, RubinBrown is recognizing the growing number of trucking and transportation-focused organizations we serve,” stated John Butler, CPA, partner-in-charge, RubinBrown’s Transportation and Dealerships Services Group. “This name change signifies our efforts to serve clients in a variety of sectors in the transportation industry other than primarily car dealerships. We are excited to continue to build the group in all three of our markets.”

Founded in 1952, RubinBrown is one of the nation’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, with more than 400 team members working from offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Denver. RubinBrown is an independent member of Baker Tilly International, a network of 149 independent firms in 125 countries. The firm’s team members hold leadership roles in both national and local accounting organizations and have worked to establish best practices in accounting within specific industry segments.
