Johnson Electric announced a motor product line for automotive Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems. This new product line delivers the highest power and longer life within a compact package. The ESC motor product line employs advanced technologies that include a patented magnetic circuit design, winding pattern and commutation interface. These innovations deliver power up to 350 W and operating life of over 350 hours, which is 50 percent higher power and 15 percent longer life compared to competitive products.
“Faster motors and more powerful actuation enhances ESC system performance,” said Jim Dick, Johnson Electric’s senior vice president of Strategic Marketing. “Improved motor life aligns with extended vehicle warranty trends,” he added.
