
Based in Plymouth, Martin will be responsible for furtherstrengthening customer relationships in HELLA’s automotive electronics andlighting businesses. She also will focus on helping to position the company foradditional growth in strategic product areas, including energy management,driver assistance and lighting.
A native of Plymouth, Michigan, Martin had been HELLA’spurchasing director for electronics commodities in the Americas and previouslymanaged North American production purchasing and supplier quality for thecompany’s electronics plants in the U.S. and Mexico.
Prior to joining HELLA, she held a series of managementpositions in purchasing at Visteon, including senior commodity manager forVisteon’s Climate Control Group and for Visteon’s Interior Product Group. While at Visteon she also served as anon-metals commodity manager and program supply purchasing manager.
Martin began her business career as an analyst with FordMotor Company’s Automotive Components Division in 1989 and progressed through aseries of purchasing positions in electronics, assembly operations, powertrain,interiors and climate control systems.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in materials andlogistics management from Michigan State University. She resides in Canton, Michigan.
