EBERSPÄCHER’S GREAT EIGHT – TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASED AT THE CV SHOW 2015

Aside from the many product debuts and news about a brand new headquarters, there is plenty to see from Eberspächer UK at the CV Show. Visitors to the Eberspächer stand at the event at Birmingham’s NEC (14-16 April 2015, stand F80, Hall 5) will be treated to a demonstration of many of the company’s innovations in heating and air-conditioning.

The technologies will be showcased on the “Great Eight” – an octuplet of high-spec vehicles that will take pride of place on the Eberspächer stand. The companies and vehicles demonstrating Eberspächer’s expertise in heating and climate control systems will be:

Mellor Coachcraft – A 22-passenger capacity Fiat Orion Plus Stage Carriage complete with flat floor, LED interior lights and space for one wheelchair. The vehicle is fitted with a D4 Airtronic heating system from Eberspächer.

Stanford Coachworks – A 16-seat, wheelchair-accessible Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 513 LWB. Fitted with Eberspächer dual air climate control, a D4 Airtronic heater and EV510 AC evaporator.

Treka Bus – A 16-seater Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 513, with underfloor cassette lift. Fitted with Eberspächer hydro climate control, a D5WSC Hydronic heater and HV510 AC heating and AC system.

Nu-Track – A 22-seater Volkswagen Crafter CR50 plus, complete with tail lift. The vehicle has been fitted with an Eberspächer Airtronic D5 heating system.

Euromotive – A flat floor, 16-seat Iveco Daily 50C, featuring a powered front door and underfloor tail lift. Fitted with Eberspächer hydro climate control, a D5WSC Hydronic heater and HV510 heating and AC system.

CM Specialist Vehicles A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 519 LWB belonging to Merseyside Police, which has been converted into a six-kennel dog training vehicle, with seating for six crew. It is fitted with an Eberspächer D4 Airtronic heater and EV510 AC evaporator.

Taxi Bus Conversions – A Volkswagen Crafter CR50 LWB Maxi, with an onboard passenger lift, 16 seats (all detachable) and built to Whole Vehicle Type Approval specifications. Fitted with an Eberspächer Airtronic D4 heating system.

The Eberspächer stand will also feature a long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz Citan van fitted with a Euroengel F0720 refrigerated container.
