New Partnership for LMC Workholding

LMC Workholding has recently partnered with two divisions of Alpine Metal Tech GmbH of Regau, Austria for quality aluminum wheel machining products: Numtec, also in Regau, Austria, and MAKRA in Forst, Germany. Alpine Metal Tech GmbH, part of Montana Tech Components AG, is a world leader in product identification and special machines for the metallurgical industry and aluminum wheel industries.

Numtec supplies machines and devices for the production of aluminum passenger car wheels with a primary focus on the handling, coding, identifying and measuring of the wheel at various stages of the manufacturing process. Information is then gathered from these devices and is fed back real-time to the manufacturing process for a higher quality end product.

MAKRA machines provide aluminum wheel testing and enable aluminum wheel producers, inspection authorities, and automobile manufacturers to ensure that all standards, regulations, and safety requirements are fulfilled.

Founded in 1916, LMC Workholding offers engineering, manufacturing and a full range of products including high quality chucks and cylinders along with special workholding devices, including aluminum wheel chucks, high volume machining power chucks and fixtures, standard and special hydraulic steady rests, special application and large cast type manual steady rests, and Chandox brand chucks and cylinders. LMC also offers a line of patented face drivers and centers.
