Exova Metech, the calibration and metrology division of the global testing company Exova, is pleased to announce that, for the first time, it has received the prestigious Volvo Cars Quality Excellence (VQE) Award.
The award is given annually to suppliers in recognition of their commitment to deliver and maintain the high standards and requirements set by Volvo Cars. Exova fought off stiff competition from over 200 suppliers to achieve the award.
Peter Engberg, managing director, Exova Metech, said: “We are very proud to receive the VQE award. It is confirmation of our strong and successful relationship with Volvo which has lasted for over 30 years. The award further underlines Exova Metech as an industry leader.”
Exova Metech has supplied calibration and consulting services to Volvo since 1984. To achieve the VQE Award standard Exova Metech also demonstrated excellent performance in different operational areas such as customer service standards, logistics and certification.
The award was presented during a ceremony at Volvo Cars in Gothenburg, Sweden, on the 28 January 2016.
