NORMA Group honors Aperam USA as its 2015 best supplier in the Americas

NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, has presented its 2015 Global Supplier Recognition Award for North and South America to Aperam Stainless Service & Solutions USA.

Aperam USA has supplied NORMA Group facilities in the Americas with stainless steel since 2008. The company has sales offices in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and manufacturing facilities in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Tim Jones, president of NORMA Americas, explained that Aperam was being recognized for its competitiveness, quality standards, economic stability and the technical knowledge of its employees in NORMA Group’s supplier evaluations for calendar year 2015.

“Aperam is known for its excellent service and high levels of customer orientation,” Jones added. “For example, Aperam provided us with detailed and continuous technical advice during recent restructuring in the area of steel processing at our plant in Auburn Hills

NORMA Group has presented its Global Supplier Recognition Award to outstanding suppliers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) since 2014. The company recognized its best suppliers in the Americas for the first time in 2015. Last year, the award was presented to McMasters Koss which supplies O-rings and sealing elements for plastic connectors and other joining technology that NORMA Group offers.
