Novares named GM's best supplier 2018

Novares Group’s La Prairie du Chien site in the US has been named as GM (General Motors) 2018 Supplier of the Year, in recognition of its exceptional quality performance.


This is the second year in a row that the plant has won the award following another perfect year with no customer complaints and an exemplary quality performance of zero defects per million parts delivered.


Dan Kane, GM Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, came to the site to present the award to La Prairie du Chien which is a specialist in powertrain components for the automotive sector.


Formerly part of the MPC company, it joined Novares in early 2019. It is one of nine sites that Novares owns in the US.


“This award confirms our success and commitment to delivering quality products to our clients, so they, in turn, can deliver quality products to the final customer. Novares is pursuing an intensive growth and innovation strategy to better serve customers and La Prairie du Chien site, which we acquired this year, is proving to be a welcome addition to the Novares family,” said Pierre Boulet, CEO of Novares.
