As today’s automotive sector increasingly focuses on providing consumers with smarter, digitized experiences, high quality automotive displays have become mission critical – and a key differentiator for auto makers. At C-Touch & Display Shenzen 2021, Henkel – a global leader in adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings for the automotive industry – will present the latest solutions for creating high performance, highly reliable automotive displays.
Dr. Michael H-Cai, Technical Customer Service Manager at Henkel for Automotive Components, Greater China, will introduce market leading adhesive technologies for optical bonding, structural bonding, and thermal solutions. C-Touch & Display Shenzen is held from October 19-21 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Shenzen, China. The international trade fair and conference dedicated to touch screens brings together the latest technologies and solutions for modules, components, chemistry and machinery required for state-of-the-art display manufacture – and is a vital opportunity for leaders in the field to meet to exchange insights and process expertise.?
Entitled “Henkel Automotive Display solutions”, the presentation by Dr. Michael H-Cai, will be at 14.00 on October 19. The presentation will take place on the first day of the Shenzhen International Intelligent Cockpit and Vehicle Display Summit Forum, one of the specialist tracks held within C-Touch & Display. A cutting-edge product showcase
C-Touch & Display Shenzen will also see the launch of a new Henkel product: Loctite SI 8657AD, a Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive (LOCA) for optical bonding of applications such as center information displays, instrument clusters, entertainment displays and side and rear-view mirrors. Offering greater optical performance, high reliability, low volume shrinkage and no oxygen inhibition, Loctite SI 8657AD is a low modulus, two-component silicone LOCA, specifically designed to create a transparent silicone rubber gap filling for display devices.
Besides the new product launch, Henkel will present a portfolio including adhesives for structural bonding and thermal interface materials, as well as processes and equipment for automotive display manufacturing.
Proudly supporting an Asian success story
“Recent years have seen a rapid and undeniable shift in the global display industry. Innovative new display technologies have emerged, and we see that the display world is increasingly dominated by players in Asian countries such as China, Korea, and Japan,” comments Arthur Fong, Vice President, Asia Pacific, for Automotive Components at Henkel. “This makes perfect sense as these countries are also the home to the world’s most successful display module manufacturers – and it’s also why C-Touch & Display is such a valuable meeting place for the industry. Through our products, processes and partnerships throughout the automotive value chain, Henkel is proud to be at the heart of this rapidly evolving sector – and hence delighted to also have strong presence at this important event.”
