Turbine Truck Engines’ Technology Advances Towards Chinese Patent

Turbine Truck Engines, Inc recently announced that Robert L. Scragg, the inventor of the Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine (“DCGT”) engine and founder of Alpha Engines Corporation, has received confirmation that the National Stage Application for an advanced version of the DCGT engine was accepted by the Chinese Patent Office on October 10, 2009. The translation and filing of the application was undertaken by the Chinese associates of Maryland based Patent Attorneys, Shoemaker and Mattare.

Michael Rouse, the President and CEO of TTE commented, “The acceptance of this application provides the intellectual property protection which we need as we pursue the commercialization of the DCGT in the various provinces of China, and we are excited about the potential impact that this technology can have on that great country.”

About Turbine Truck Engines, Inc.

Turbine Truck Engines, Inc. is a technology company focused on the development, manufacture and testing of its New Energy and Environmentally Efficient Truck Engine intended for mass market distribution in the United States and abroad. The new engine can utilize any known fuel source (gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, hydrogen, methanol, ethanol or LPG) or fuel mixture, yet needs zero coolant, lube oil, filters, or pumps. Its unique, lightweight turbine design has few moving parts, significantly reducing maintenance costs. The innovative cyclic detonation process produces a complete combustion of fuel-oxidizer mixtures, resulting in greater fuel economy and fewer harmful exhaust emissions.
