Conductive Plastics Leader ElectriPlast to Speak at Electrical Connectors Conference
ElectriPlast Invited to Present at Industry’s International Conference in Cologne Germany
ElectriPlast Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Technologies, Inc. [OTCBB: ITKG], (www.electriplast.com) and makers of the ElectriPlast™ line of electrically conductive resins, has been invited to speak at the International Electrical and Electronics Connectors Conference to be held in Cologne, Germany in April, 2012. The conference, sponsored by AMI, Ltd., Applied Market Information Ltd.(AMI), a world leader in plastics market research, is the first international conference directed at attracting industry leaders from the fields of connector technology to provide a forum for brand owners, electrical and electronics manufacturers, researchers, designers and suppliers to the industry to debate the latest developments and market trends.
Recently, ElectriPlast announced their line of patented resins will be applied to a new generation of high-voltage, lightweight connectors for the Fisker-Karma vehicle, the world’s first premium plug-in hybrid electric vehicle slated for production in Valmet, Finland. “High voltage connector applications offer unique challenges requiring tight tolerances and complex molding techniques,” states Mo Zeidan, Director of New Product Development for ElectriPlast Corporation. “We have been working side-by-side with our OEM and Tier1 clients for several years to develop this technology for high-voltage applications. We are delighted to have been chosen to present at the international conference in Cologne and look forward to sharing our insights with other professionals in the electrical connectors field.”
The market for connectors worldwide is expanding as more and more daily tasks and business functions enter the electrical and electronic age. For example, the increased connectivity in the automotive sector, this will increase again due to the advent of the electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid EV. More and more actions are controlled by computer systems and the industrial connector sector is seeing a rise in robotics and automation. This is in addition to use in the alternative energy industry, the military, domestic appliances, mobile technology and medical applications.
