Brose North America Receives Chrysler Group Gold Award

Headquarters in Detroit and Puebla Facilities Recognized

DaimlerChrysler has awarded Brose North America with its Chrysler Group Gold Award for the second consecutive year for Brose’s North American Headquarters in Detroit and production facility in Puebla, Mexico.

The award was given to Brose North America based on excellent performance in the areas of quality, cost, technology and delivery, which places Brose in a leading position among its competitors.

Brose’s Puebla facility supplies window regulators for Chrysler Group vehicles such as the 300, Magnum, Charger and Pacifica. The development and prototype production for these products are the responsibility of Brose North America’s headquarters in Detroit.

“This award marks an important milestone for continued cooperation with DaimlerChrysler amid a more competitive market for door and seat systems in North America,” said Jan Kowal, president, Brose North America, Inc. “Building on this relationship, we are now developing our first door module for the Chrysler group, which will be handled by our Puebla facility.”

DaimlerChrysler Corporation is one of the most important, long standing customers of the Brose Group. Currently 39 models from Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, Dodge and Smart are supplied with Brose window regulators, seat adjusters, door and closure systems. Brose supplies DaimlerChrysler out of 12 facilities in Europe, North America, South America and South Africa.
