dPollution Device Approved for Sale in European Union

Company Passes EU's Technical and Safety Tests, Receives Long-Awaited Product Certification

dPollution International Inc. announced that its fuel-reconditioning device has been approved for sale in the European Union after receiving homologation certification under the EU’s electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Directives 95/54/CE and 72/245/CEE.

The certification, which was granted by Italy’s Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, confirms that the dPollution Device complies with the EU’s technical and safety requirements for electromagnetic automotive components.

Based on this certification by the Italian government, the dPollution Device is approved for sale immediately across Italy. The certification also clears the way for sales in other EU countries following a simple registration process, with no further requirement for testing or approvals.

dPollution has initiated registration of the device throughout the EU, with an initial focus on Germany, France and Switzerland.

“This is an exciting day for our company and our shareholders,” said dPollution President and Chief Executive Officer Rocco Di Fruscia. “Make no mistake, receiving EU homologation certification for the dPollution Device and approval for sale across the European Union is a huge achievement. The certification process is bureaucratic and lengthy, and this has caused delays in our product rollout, but we’re back on track and extremely thankful to our loyal shareholders for staying behind us.”

Added Mr. Di Fruscia: “The management of dPollution remains fully committed to the company’s business plan, and this is supported by the fact that no one in management has sold any shares to date. We’re just getting started on the road to introducing our patented fuel reconditioning technology to the marketplace and building dPollution International into a global powerhouse in its category.”

EU homologation certification of the dPollution Device was granted based on tests conducted by Italy’s ELASIS research center, which is the research arm of auto giant Fiat Group and an EU-approved homologation testing facility.

The EU issues European-wide homologation certification to products that are first certified by one of its member states according to specified technical and safety requirements.

For automotive components, certification for electromagnetic compliance confirms that both the radio frequency disturbances emitted by the component and the component’s immunity to radiated electromagnetic disturbances from other devices fall within defined limits.
