First, to provide more sales and service support to the major, multi-national automotive OEMs in Detroit, Parker continues to increase its investment in an automotive specifications team focused on delivering value adding and cost saving motion control solutions for these primary OEMs. In addition, Parker’s automotive specifications team will work with automotive OEMs to coordinate a closed-loop information stream between the automotive companies and their suppliers – resulting in continued production improvements and efficiencies.
Second, to better serve other Parker Hannifin OEM and MRO customers, Parker has teamed up with Exotic Automation & Supply, which has expanded its OEM team, with specialties in hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid connectors. The company also maintains a separate MRO team and has enhanced its inside sales, inventory, and management teams to increase customer support through independent, focused distribution.
