More visitors and more exhibitors expected.

Exhibitors and organizers are gearing up for the ninth edition of AUTOMOTIVE WORLD, which is world’s largest exhibition for the advanced automotive technologies. AUTOMOTIVE WORLD 2017 will be hosted at Tokyo Big Sight from January 18-20, 2017. The expo, which is organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan supported by SAE International, will be made up of five specialized shows, as well as conferences.

The five shows will focus on car electronics technology, EV/HEV/FCV technology, lightweight technology, components processing technology, and technology for connected cars. While hosted in Japan, it is recognized as a global showcase for the latest technology and innovation in the automotive sector.

According to the organizers, the number of exhibitors is expected to reach 900 over the five specialized shows – an increase of 120 from the previous record set in 2016. Some 100 conference sessions will be hosted during AUTOMOTIVE WORLD 2017. Keynote speakers include Kiyotaka Ise, Senior Managing Officer, Toyota Motor Corp; Takao Asami, Alliance Global VP, Senior Vice President of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd; Hiroyuki Wakabayashi, Senior Executive Director, Member of the Board, DENSO Corp; Klaus Meder, President of Automotive Electronics, Business Sector Mobility Solutions (BMM), Robert Bosch GmbH; and Bert Wolfram, CEO Continental Japan.

One of the highlights of the 2017 show will be a larger ADAS/Autonomous Driving Zone.

CAR-ELE JAPAN
The show gathers a variety of automotive electronics technologies such as components, materials, software, manufacturing equipment and testing technologies.
