Emulate3D Wins Prestigious Queen’s Award For Industry

Emulate3D is celebrating being named as winner of aQueen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

We received our award for Innovation in recognition ofthe work done in developing the Emulate3D Controls Testing (ECT) range.Implementing and testing industrial automation system controls can now becarried out off line, making acceptance tests straightforward and resulting inmore robust controls, delivered on time, and within budget.

Emulate3D Controls Testing is used worldwide whereverthere are automation systems in industries ranging from automotivemanufacturing, food production, paper processing, material handling equipment, and airport baggage handling.

Director Ian McGregor states, “Traditional on-siteacceptance testing was always a difficult time, as the controls are the finalpart of the system to be put in place and tested before handover, and so oftenfell victim to project delays and last minute modifications. Cost overruns werefrequently caused by this unpredictable phase of the project. By takingcontrols testing off the critical path, Emulate3D Controls Testing allowscomprehensive testing to be carried out more safely and at lower cost, earlierin the project, resulting in thoroughly tested control systems.”

Emulate3D Ltd celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, and provides development, marketing and support from the UK headquarters, anduser training and support in the US office.
